Asia Inspires ME
MotionElements Pte Ltd (http://www.motionelements.com) launches “Asia Inspires ME”, its first international motion graphics and 3d models competition to celebrate Asian inspirations. On top of winning prizes, outstanding digital artists will have an opportunity to showcase their entries at the ME booth at the inaugural SIGGRAPH Asia 2008 (http://www.siggraph.org/asia2008).
Asia is the world’s largest and most populous continent. Containing more than 60% of the world’s current human population, its rich cultural diversity inspires great creativity. “Asia inspires ME” is a competition designed for international digital artists to develop their skills and exchange ideas with one another. This competition is open to all around the globe to explore in the format of motion graphics or 3d models what inspire them from Asia.
There are three awards (Gold, Silver and Bronze) for each of the two categories of motion graphics and 3d models. Only individual entrants are eligible and multiple entries are permitted. Besides the showcasing of works at the ME booth at SIGGRAPH Asia 2008, entrants will also be offered the opportunity to become ME artists and sell their works at ME.
The “Asia Inspires ME” competition opens from 1 September. Closing date for all entries is on 31 October 2008.
The winning entries will be announced on ME’s website http://www.motionelements.com on 30 November 2008.
