Traffic is being detoured before the famous Shah Faisal mosque in Pakistan's capital Islamabad. The mosque was named after King Faisal of Saudi Arabia who financed it as part of a gift package to Pakistan.

Islamabad is divided into two very distinct parts. One side is completely planned and serves as the political centre of both the city and country. The other side, Rawalpindi, is much more chaotic and authentic, and is considered to be the 'real Islamabad'.
