Claude Debussy’s “La fille aux cheveux de lin” (“The Girl with the Flaxen Hair”) is the eighth piece in the composer’s first book of “Préludes.” The piece, known for its musical simplicity reminiscent of a pastoral folk-like tune, is one of the most recorded pieces of Debussy’s, both in its original version and in subsequent various arrangements.
