Beethoven Piano Sonata No. 1 in F minor Op. 2 II. Adagio

The second movement of Piano Sonata No. 1 in F minor, Op. 2 by Ludwig van Beethoven is entitled Adagio. The second movement opens with a highly ornamented lyrical theme followed by a more agitated transitional passage and a return to a more embellished form of the initial theme.
