Shane Crixus is a qualified music producer and sound designer with over 20 years of experience both on stage and in the studio, with a career that also encompasses the hosting, content and production of radio shows, and publishing as a music journalist for local arts and music monthly, Warp Magazine, since 2013.
Working with independent musicians, artists and filmmakers, and corporate, governmental and charitable organisations, he has composed and produced electronic, orchestral, and hybrid-orchestral music for sound-art installations and commercial release. Alongside composition for films such as Ryan Jasper’s Heroes of Peace (2015) and Jacob Harris & Agatha Partyka’s summer turns to Jacky Winter (2020), he has performed in Jacob Harris’ acclaimed independent short Three Poems (2013).
Having also performed as an MC and DJ since 2001, Shane Crixus has shared stages with world-renowned acts such as Atmosphere, MF DOOM, Chali 2na, Del tha Funkee Homosapien, and Hilltop Hoods.
