MotionElements: How many of you are there in chicvoyage and where are you based in?

Greg Hung: Currently, I’m in Vancouver, Canada, but have spent a lot of time in Taiwan and Singapore. At the moment I’m mostly a one man band. Though I have a friend and partner in Taiwan that helped me in Taiwan and Japan.

ME: What are you working on now?

GH: I’m in Vancouver so filming a lot of Christmas based footage

ME: What’s the most enjoyable thing about what you do?

GH: I love travel and filming video and the flexibility to do something I enjoy, where and when I want.

ME: What tickles your creative bone? Who/What is your biggest muse?

GH: I really enjoy some of the tools that are available for us to create these days. The drones and creative tools coming from DJI and Gopro get me most excited. There are just so many possibilities for creating.

ME: When and How did you start of selling stock?

GH: I uploaded my first clips that sold in Jan 2012, but and didn’t take it seriously until MotionElements contacted me in Dec 2013 to organize my Asian collection.

ME: Do you have a favourite piece you made? If so, what is it and why is it your favourite?

GH:I have many favorites. The South African collection from Kruger National Park was fun to capture.

ME: If you have a once in a lifetime shoot and you could only grab one piece of equipment to bring with you, which equipment would you bring and why?

GH: Canon 6d and my 24-105mm lens. This is a versatile setup that I can rely on to allow me to focus on capturing the moment.

ME: How would you describe the work that you do?

GH: I try to tell a story on film mostly travel related footage that involves attractions, people, culture, nightlife, and good. I try to bring a cinematic feel to my footage incorporate certain lenses, angles, and accessories.
