Twitter

In 2015, users on Twitter shared over 100 million GIFs. This number is expected to rise even more as animated visuals has become one of the top trends on social media.

Upload your GIF directly and Twitter will get it to loop on your page. Size of animated GIFs can be up to 5MB on mobile, and up to 15MB on web. Click here for more specifications from Twitter.

Facebook

Facebook doesn’t support direct uploads of GIFs. To post GIFs on Facebook, you will need a URL. Copy the URL of the GIF (which ends with “.gif”) by right-clicking on the GIF and selecting “Copy Image Address”. Paste then the image address on your Facebook.

WordPress

Click on “Add Media” to upload your GIF. Alternatively, set a hyperlink to the GIF if you like the audience to be redirected to another website.

Make sure the GIF size fits the design of your blog. MotionElements’s GIF Creator can help you generate your GIF to a size you need.
