MotionElements is pleased to confirm that they will be speaking in IBM sponsor session at Slush Asia in Tokyo.

Singapore – April 22, 2015 – Mark Sun, Co-Founder and CTO of MotionElements, will share his insights on architecturing the IT infrastructure for his startup at Slush ASIA. This one day event will take place in Tokyo on Friday 24th April 2015.

MotionElements is extremely thrilled to have been invited by IBM Japan and look forward to meeting the predicted 3,000 people that are set to attend. Sun will share his experience on using SoftLayer to scale his startup from 1 server to clusters of servers spanning across the globe.

Mark Sun explains “MotionElements’ key markets are across Asia, US and Europe and is growing by more than 100% every year. As a result of our growth we needed to ensure our IT also scaled at a similar rate and so we looked to SoftLayer as our infrastructure partner.”

Sun continues; “Since working with SoftLayer, we have been able to spend our time and resources on improving features for our customers and growing our business, instead of focusing on server maintenance. Focusing on improvements for our customers and business growth have allowed us to get where we are today, the largest royalty-free marketplace in Asia for worldwide stock video and audio.”

Slush originates from Finland but has grown to become one of the world’s largest startup events. The goal of the event is to light entrepreneurial fire in Asian youth through talks by experienced entrepreneurs.

Slush ASIA will welcome over 3,000 people on Friday, including; guest speakers from 20 countries, 250 startups and 100 investors.
