Western jackdaw walks on embankment, takes flight and flies away

Corvus monedula. Western jackdaw walks on concrete embankment along coastline looking for food, then takes flight and flies away. It's a passerine bird in the crow family and is also known as the Eurasian jackdaw or European jackdaw. It is found across Europe, North Africa and western Asia and it is mostly resident, although it also may be migratory - northern and eastern populations migrate south in winter.
