6 pixel transitions for After Effects (6 compositions in one project, 3840x2160, Horizontal 16:9, 4K, 60 fps). Each transition is 2 seconds: a pixelated edge with a glowing band sweeps across the whole frame and the picture changes from Scene A to Scene B where the edge has passed.
Transitions - 01 Mono Standard: a blue pixel glow band, standard pixel size (default: From Left); 02 Colorful Standard: a five-color pixel glow band, standard pixel size (default: From Top); 03 Mono Fine: a thin blue band made of small pixels (default: From Right); 04 Colorful Fine: a thin five-color band made of small pixels (default: From Bottom); 05 Mono Bold: a wide blue band made of large pixels (default: From Center); 06 Colorful Bold: a wide five-color band made of large pixels (default: From Left).
Choose one of 5 directions (top, bottom, left, right, center) with the Direction dropdown on the Control layer. Put your clips into the Scene A and Scene B comps (01_Edit folder) and every transition uses them. The Control layer also has the start time, speed, band width, pixel size, edge roughness, glow, colors and random seed.
No plug-ins required (standard effects only). No fonts used.
